Site Selection and Feasibility Studies
The Site Selection/Feasibility Study is usually the datum point from which a project is conceived. IBS reviews all aspects and conditions in determining feasibility for the intended use of the property. We use our own unique approach in assessing a potential Mission Critical Facility site, whether it is a Greenfield, Brownfield or existing facility. In addition to a comprehensive Utility survey and fiber study, IBS assesses the site based on its proprietary five-point rating system. This method assesses location, available resources, site logistics and security as well as property/building attributes. We calculate the site yield – a function of available power, redundancy, physical structure, and available land to white space. We also perform test-fit facility modeling to determine the types of facilities that would be feasible within the potential site. After the project has been completed, operational evaluations are performed to assess ongoing maintenance and service provisions, such as Total Cost of Operations (TCOP), Facility Life Cycle (FLC) and Real Return on Investment (RROI). . |
